Sherwood Park is located in Strathcona County in Alberta. It is a large hamlet that is very close to the City of Edmonton. The community was established in 1953 and its name was changed to Sherwood Park in 1956. This location is Alberta’s 7th largest city and is considered an Urban Service Area. The total population is around 70,000 with a reasonable population density. As a result, people here can enjoy their privacy without feeling too detached from urbanized areas.
